For the longest time the music was reaching out, homesick somehow.
I only hope I may somehow contribute in my newfound home, Riga.
Music which I am currently available to perform live. At present I am active in two groups representing the audio/visual noise and ambient electroacoustic genres respectively.
Before attending music academy I was an active drummer, lyricist and keyboardist with several groups, the most prominent of which was a rock band, Firebrands which toured festivals around the world.
During my formal education I focussed more on composition, but now I am slowly returning to the role of performer.
This body of work represents commissioned music for commercial or artistic endeavors.
I have collaborated with film-makers, animators, game designers, video projection artists, recording artists, bands, DJ's, dancers, photographers and theatre groups.
I enjoy working with others in whatever capacity I am able.
